Jason is a Registered Nurse with nearly 2 decades of hospital experience. He began working by gaining experience in Cardiac Telemetry followed by Cardiac Surgical Step-down, and Dialysis and Kidney Transplant. After forming a solid foundation as a Registered Nurse, Jason soon transitioned to Intensive Care. This included working in both Medical and Surgical Intensive Care, and finally Cardiovascular Intensive Care arenas. In addition to his clinical experience, he has also served in many different education and training positions. Additionally, he has served as an instructor with Rasmussen College in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Along his journey in nursing, Jason has continued to grow and develop his career first earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Health Care Management. Jason then went on and earned his certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in 2013. Given his love for cardiac care, Jason became certified as an Instructor of American Heart Association courses in 2015 and with the help of his wife, Tara, of 18 years, built West Volusia CPR, LLC from scratch to be the best team possible to help serve the community. In addition to providing training in cardiac resuscitation, Jason also serves as the clinical nurse educator for nurses caring for patients in Cardiovascular Intensive Care.
